To build a series of Barclaycard B2C and B2B emails, based on a modular template system. Design files were supplied as PDFs or PSD files. Hero images needed to be created as background images with custom fonts as live text, while ensuring maximum inbox compatibility and fallbacks.
All image and video assets were tweaked, generated and compressed. Some aspects of the designs verved beyond of the core template layouts and had to be custom coded then subsequently tested rigourously in Litmus and on a range of test devices. In total, over 20 emails with multiple variations were turned around, to very short deadlines.
