Happy2Host
Character Design
The challenge was to design a waiter character with ‘host’ mannerisms, to be used on the website of hosting company Happy2host. The client provided a moodboard of examples in MS Word and required the character to have a ‘Jetsons’ like stylization and be friendly in appearance. The created character also needed to have the potential to possibly be animated at a later date.
The character was sketched and developed in pencil before being scanned onto computer and refined in Illustrator. Within a few iterations we reached a final design ready for digital purposes.
